Coffee Porter is Delicious

OK, so I'm going to toot my own horn, but I have to say that the coffee porter finally is carbonated well and damn if it doesn't taste fine. It the best beer I've brewed to date, and I will definitely make this again. It should get even better in the coming months.

In the meantime, I think the next batch is going to be an all-grain saison. I brought back some culinary lavender from Washington state and might throw in a teaspoon or so.

This sounds great, and is the next beer I'm going to try as well.

Do you think there will be any taste issues with leaving the beer/coffee mix in the keg for a couple of months?

I haven't tried kegging yet, so storage issues on the front aren't my specialty. I can't imagine there would be an issue. It's not a huge ABV beer, so long-time storage probably isn't good, but a couple of months would most likely be OK.

I added the coffee to secondary after about 10 days, then left it there for another 10 before bottling. Worked well. Cracked another bottle tonight for a small tasting and it was all I could do to keep from gulping this stuff down. One guest, who doesn't drink a lot of caffeine, actually had a reaction to it for the strength of the coffee in there. Pretty wild.
